Dear Aikidoka and Sensei
Point Reyes Seidokan Aikido wants to welcome you to the 2017 Seidokan Aikido Camp in the Bay Area Friday June 9 through Sunday June 11, 2017. The Camp is to be held at the Dominican University of California in San Rafael, Marin County, California. The location is: Dominican University of California
This location is about an hour north of SFO on US101. It is a little more than an hour from Oakland International. Both of these drives are not wonderful on Friday afternoon. The recommended path to the University is to fly into SFO, take the Bart to the Ferry Building, and take the Ferry across the bay to Larkspur. I or my assistants will pick you up at Larkspur and take you to the University. There are other paths up this particular mountain, but this is the one I recommend.
Accommodations are double occupancy rooms that are in suites of two rooms sharing a bathroom. A limited number of single accommodation rooms are available for an additional cost. We will be dining at the cafeteria which has a range of menus including vegetarian, gluten free etc.
Our tentative schedule is:
Friday 2-5 pm Check in
5-7 pm Dinner
7- 9 pm Practice
Saturday 7-8 am Practice 8-9:30 Breakfast 9:30-11:30 Practice 11:30- 2:30 Lunch and Free time
2:30 -5pm Practice
5-7 pm Dinner 7-9 pm Practice
Sunday 7-8 am Practice 8-9:30 Breakfast 9:30-11:30 Practice and closing
11:30- 12:30 Lunch 12:30-1 pm Check out
Camp Rates:
Shodo-O-Seisu Rate if received (or postmarked) by March 31 $285
Chudo Rate if received (or postmarked) by April 30 $305
Barely made it rate if received (or postmarked) by May 31 $325
Show-up-on-the-day-of Rate (assuming there's still room) $350
Add-On: For non-Seidokan Members add $50
